The Delta Zeta Zeta Chapter was established on December 3, 1949 in Prince George's County, MD. The chapter sponsors an undergraduate chapter and four auxiliary groups. The chapter and its auxiliaries have sponsored or co-sponsored projects such as: Health Fairs, Youth Career Day Workshops, Voter Registration drives, Annual Women's Fair, Women's Legislative Briefing, Black History Programs, Adopt-A-Road, Scholarship Fashion Show, Economic Empowerment Seminars, Walk for Babies/Walk America, Feeding the Homeless, and Jazz Luncheon.
The Sigma Psi Zeta Chapter was charted on December 4, 2002 in Fort Washington, MD. Since the Sorority's inception, Sigma Psi Zeta has long demonstrated an interest in serving the needs of the community. The chapter is a force in the community with numerous Z-HOPE and community service programs, and on-going parternships with Larkin Chase Nursing Home, Lewisdale Elementary School and Carmody Hills Baptist Church.
On April 10, 2003, the Tau Delta Zeta Chapter was charted in Laurel, MD by 11 enthusiastic, dedicated, business-savvy women who sought to make a difference in their community and represent Zeta in a manner worthy of their Five Pearls. Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. has always been a forerunner in the community and the members of Tau Delta Zeta have sought to expand on the sorority's exemplary record as "A Community-Conscious, Action-Oriented Organization" hence the chapter's motto, "Expand and Serve."
